MBTMY TCG BINDER
✦ OUR STORY · ISSUE NO. 01

We built it because we needed it.

A short letter from the team about the binder, the why, and what we’re quietly hoping My TCG Binder grows into.

There’s a specific kind of evening — the one where you pull a binder off the shelf, sit on the floor, and turn pages slowly. The sleeves rustle. The light catches a holo. You remember exactly where you got that card, and who you traded for it, and why you held onto it.

We grew up doing that. A lot of us still do. But somewhere between the shoebox of childhood Pokémon and the four EDH decks we’re currently tuning, the collection got harder to keep track of. Spreadsheets. Half-finished apps. A photo roll full of card backs.

We didn’t want a marketplace. We wanted a binder.

So we built one. My TCG Binder is a quiet place to keep your cards. Build as many binders as you can collect — one per deck, one per set, one for the bulk you’re working through. Share what you want, when you want. Keep the rest to yourself.

We started with Pokémon and Magic because that’s what we play. Lorcana, One Piece, and Yu-Gi-Oh are next. We’ll get to your game.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

A few quiet principles that shape every decision.

I.
Private by default.
Every binder you build is private until you decide otherwise. We never share, surface, or sell what's in your collection.
II.
Calm before features.
We'd rather have ten things that feel right than fifty that feel cluttered. The binder is the product.
III.
Real game support, not lip service.
Every game we add gets full set data, real images, and proper variant tracking. No 'coming soon' tabs that never load.
IV.
Built by people who play.
We're cube curators, EDH brewers, vintage Pokémon collectors. We use this app every day. It has to feel right to us first.
